How exactly does the Java agent block attacks?
Contrast Protect throws a single ContrastException for all of our rules. This exception is thrown to prevent further execution within the application once it’s been determined that the attack would successfully exploit the application. This exception is an extension of the Java SecurityException class, which in turn is an extension of the RuntimeException class, which is an extension of Exception.
If your development team is doing work to tailor exception behavior, we recommend it be done in SecurityException.
