Dear Valued CodeSec User,

This email is to inform you that we will be discontinuing Contrast CodeSec, effective May 1, 2025. We understand this may impact your workflow and we want to provide you with as much information as possible to ensure a smooth transition.

Why is Contrast CodeSec being discontinued?

CodeSec was a free, lightweight offering for organizations to get started with CLI-driven scanning. CodeSec was designed for the use of a single developer with limited testing functionality and was not integrated with any of our runtime technologies. After careful consideration, CodeSec will no longer be actively supported by Contrast.

What does this mean for you?

After May 1, 2025, CodeSec will no longer be available. This includes all related features and support. Existing Contrast customers will continue to have access to the CLI by connecting to their instance. Customers will need to authenticate using their user credentials and can follow this documentation to do so.

Non-Contrast customers requiring continued usage of our platform are encouraged to Try Contrast to explore our complete portfolio or contact a sales representative at info@contrastsecurity.comWe apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
