We're reaching out to inform you of ongoing issues with logins and traffic going to https://app.contrastsecurity.com.
At 5:12 pm UTC, our platform monitoring detected issues processing traffic to the Contrast SaaS system hosted at https://app.contrastsecurity.com.
Contrast determined the cause and deployed a fix and as of 5:24 pm UTC, service was restored and the traffic was processed successfully.
During the course of the incident:
- User logins failed to https://app.contrastsecurity.com, returning a 503 response.
- API calls to https://app.contrastsecurity.com were failing.
- No other Contrast SaaS systems were impacted.
- Agent traffic was not impacted.
- The Contrast team continues to monitor the health of the service, and this incident is now considered resolved.
- A retrospective will be held to determine what actions are needed to avoid a future recurrence.
